This page is intended to assist you, our valued customer, with your online photo review experience. If you have already read this information or are comfortable with the procedure you may go directly to your online photos by clicking the "continue button" at the bottom of this page.
"ALL PHOTOS ORDERED AND PRINTED ARE OF TRUE PROFESSIONAL STUDIO QUALITY"
When you continue to the online photo section, you will first select your photo album from the category for which your photos were taken i.e. Weddings, High School Seniors etc.
Select category and then select your photos by name or event. ( Note- an asterisk appearing to the right of the photo album name indicates this file is password protected. If a password is required ( your option ) you should have been issued it at the conclusion of your photo session. If you have lost or forgotten your password, please contact us for re-issue).
When you have opened your photo album you will see a series of thumbnails ( small representations of your photos ). The top of the page will indicate how many pages of photos you have in your album. Click next to continue reviewing thumbnails or click on an individual thumbnail to enlarge the photo view.
After enlarging a thumbnail view you should note the preview area to the right of your enlarged photo. From here you can go forward to the next photo, backup to a previous photo or start a slide show of all your photos in succession with a 5 second review delay. You can return to the thumbnail preview at any time by clicking on the "Back to Thumbnails" in the preview area. The enlarged view of your photos also opens the available online ordering area. The name at the bottom of a photo is its file name and the name used for ordering.
OK, now for the issues and general information about your online photos................
All of our customers computers differ in many areas.
Some are based on different operating systems such as "Windows, Mac and Linux all of which have their own unique versions or flavors which can affect capabilities and compatibilities.
They have different CPU, Memory and Storage configurations.
For our purpose, Internet Browsers, Bandwidth ( the speed your modem can up or download information i.e. a dial-up, DSL or Cable connection ) and your Monitor size and Resolution are probably the most important to understand.
Your video display should be set for its maximum available color depth. The pixel width and height should be set for viewing comfort, usually at least 800x600 or higher, this will allow for more on screen real estate which will minimize or eliminate the need to scroll through your browser windows. Most computers are already configured in this manner meaning you should not need to make any adjustments. The faster your internet connection the faster your photo albums will be displayed.
Your Jeff Kassebaum professional photographs were taken at very high Quality resolutions. Your original photographs are stored and remain at this High Quality Resolution for true studio quality print production. What you see here on the web site is a photo that has been converted for web site production. This is to say , a copy of the original was digitally modified (Shrunk & Compressed) to be published on this internet site. In doing so, some of the photo quality and crispness has been degraded. By doing this, we can provide all of our clients "online proofs" of their photos regardless of available bandwidth. Photos will normally be posted on this site within 48 hours and remain on site for 45 days. If your photos appear unusually dark, your monitors brightness and contrast may need to be adjusted. These settings are normally found on the bottom front of your monitor.
If you are satisfied with the online representation and wish to save time, you may order online. ( Again I Stress, All Printed Photos are Studio Quality ). We also encourage you to email your site (Album) information, password etc. with those whom you would like to share your photos. If you encounter any problems with online viewing please contact us. I would also ask that after you review your photos you take a moment to sign our guestbook or send us your feedback which is located on our Home page.
It is hoped that the online experience is a convenience to our customers. It is not ,nor shall it ever be, a replacement for our "one on one" customer service and support. You are encouraged to view your online proofs, set up an appointment with my staff so that you may better review your choices in full resolution and take advantage of our digital enhancement or correction capabilities. We also offer framing and mounting services.
